The number of case/care management credentials is growing as rapidly as the practice. Credentialing is increasingly essential for individuals and organizations serving vulnerable populations. By receiving your certification in care management, you are letting your community and competitors know you stand for quality and continuity of care; quality of life and of dying; your future and your belief in continuous learning, and a healthcare and long-term care system that extends beyond the medical model. You also demonstrate your competency in aging and disability issues, community services, chronic disease management, benefit and financing options, legal and ethical concerns, special needs and advocacy, and family and individual support. In order to take the NACCM Certification Examination at the Autumn Series on Aging, you must be pre-approved. Please submit your application no later than July 31, 2006. Application information is available at www.NACCM.net or (800) 962-2260. |
