2. Put in check-in and check-out date under CHECK AVAILABILITY, Click "Go"
3. Type group code: ASA into the box right next to "Group/Convention Code" under Special Accounts (optional, then click "Continue" button. 
4. Check the button under "_________" and click "Continue". 
5. Continue to made reservation as regular reservation process.

The group rate is only available prior to 12:00 am on the cut off date of September 8th.

Accommodations

We have secured a special group rate of $112.00 plus taxes, single or double occupancy, at the Embassy Suites Hotel.  Space is limited and rooms at this rate will be offered until September 8, 2006 or until our block is sold out, whichever comes first. 

Please call the hotel directly at (650) 589-3400 or 1-800-362-2779 to make your reservations.  When booking your reservations, please advise the agent that you are with the American Society on Aging group.  All guest room reservations must be accompanied by a major credit card for guarantee.  Any cancellations must be made at least 24-hours prior to arrival to avoid penalty.

All Embassy Suites hotel guests receive a complimentary cooked to order breakfast each morning, and a complimentary Manager’s Reception each evening with beverages and snacks. All guests rooms also have a mini refrigerator and microwave oven for your convenience.

Driving from San Francisco International Airport
Take Highway 101 North to Grand Ave. Exit, South San Francisco
Follow the road around (right hand side), Grand Ave. Exit
Make a right on Grand Ave.
Make a left at the first traffic light (Gateway Blvd.)
The hotel is on the corner.

From San Francisco
Take 101 South to Grand Ave.
Make a left at the light.
Make a left on Grand Ave.
Make a left on Gateway Blvd.

From San Jose and the San Mateo Bridge (Highway 92)
Take Highway 101 North to Grand Ave. Exit, South San Francisco
Follow the road around (right hand side), Grand Ave Exit

From Sacramento
Take Hwy 80 South to Bay Bridge to Hwy 101 South

From Marin County
Take Golden Gate Bridge to 19th Avenue
Stay on 19th Ave. until it turns into Hwy 280 South
Exit Hwy 380 to Hwy 101 North
Exit Grand Ave., South San Francisco
Follow road around (right hand side) to Grand Ave. Exit
Make a right on Grand Ave.
Make a left at the first traffic light (Gateway Blvd.)

Parking

The Embassy Suites hotel has free parking on property.

Public Transportation

CalTrain

Take CalTrain to "South San Francisco" stop you may follow crossway to the hotel.

BART

The hotel will provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the Millbrae BART Station on the following schedule:
Monday – Thursday, September 25-28
Leaving the Embassy Suites every 30 minutes beginning at 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM and 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  The shuttle will arrive at the Millbrae BART Station approximately 6:45 AM – 10:45 AM and 4:15 PM – 8:15 PM.

Or you may take BART to the SFO Station and proceed to upper floor/departure level and locate the hotel shuttle kiosk/covered stand. There will be a courtesy phone in the covered stand. Please call the Embassy Suites – South San Francisco to alert the hotel that you are waiting.  (Important note: Please make sure that you board the Embassy Suites, South San Franciscoshuttle and NOT the Embassy Suites, Burlingame shuttle.)
