MindAlert Presents: Speakers’ Bureau Online Series

The MindAlert Speakers’ Bureau Program is designed to train professionals around the country to implement cognitive stimulating programs in local settings. Speakers’ Bureau programs have received the MetLife Foundation MindAlert Award and are recognized as innovative community-based programs translating research related to enhancing cognitive function in later life into practical mental/cognitive health promotion activities. The American Society on Aging, with the generous funding from the MetLife Foundation, offers free online training and educational resources on current research and innovative programs in the non-profit sector that help older adults maintain and enhance cognitive and mental function in their later years. Building on the MetLife MindAlert program cornerstones ‐ from the awards to the lectures – touching thousands of professional and elders nationwide, ASA is taking the program to greater prominence with broader visibility through its online educational series.
