Welcome to the online Media Center for the Aging in America Conference of the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and American Society on Aging (ASA), to be held in Washington, D.C., March 27-30, 2008, with pre-conference programs on March 26, 2008.

This section of the Aging in America conference website provides resources for media professionals wishing to cover the event. Many of the policy, research and practice developments in the field of aging presented at the conference are directly newsworthy or provide the basis for in-depth feature reporting on aging-related issues.

The Aging in America conference brings together experts on all aspects of aging from across North America, providing an excellent pool of information sources for journalists working on a variety of beats at local, regional and national levels. Complimentary media registration for the conference is available only to those who complete the online request form in advance. Working press should be prepared to show credentials to obtain this registration. Freelancers can show an assignment letter or evidence of recent work with legitimate consumer or special-audience media.

If you are not a member of the working press, but would like to register for the 2008 Aging in America conference, please visit the 2008 Aging in America conference main page.
